The Austin High Maroons wrestling program continues to thrive. In 2026, Maroons sophomore Alisa Marquez won the 26-6A District Championship. Marquez continued her impressive form into the UIL State Playoffs, qualifying from Regionals to the State Championship. Marquez has been to the State Championship as a Freshman and Sophomore. She and the team continue to thrive under the leadership of Coaches Wayne Frazier and Jon Brooks.
