Stephen F. Austin High School is located in downtown Austin, Texas on the banks of Lady Bird Lake. The Maroons play in District 26-6A in the State’s largest classification. Austin High offers 18 Varsity UIL sports programs and 5 club sports. Over 650 Austin High students compete in athletics on an annual basis. Austin High’s motto is ‘Mens Agitat Molem’ (Mind Over Matter) which is reflected in the achievements of Maroons athletes and the top-notch academics offered.  Founded in 1881, Austin High is the oldest public high school in Texas. Alumni who attend Austin High truly are “Loyal Forever”.
