Austin High Girls Lacrosse
The Austin High School girls lacrosse program is one of the most successful and respected athletic programs on campus, consistently setting a standard of excellence both on and off the field. Known for its competitive spirit and strong team culture, the program has won several district titles in the D2 division and now competes at the highest D1 division. The team has produced numerous standout athletes, several college lacrosse commits and in recent years have also had players earn All American and Academic All American by USA Lacrosse.

Coach McGraw enters his first year at the helm of Austin High in 2025 after a short stint leading the Dripping Springs program. He has multiple years of impressive head coaching experience, both domestically and internationally and played at UC Berkeley.

We’re excited to officially introduce the incredible coaching staff leading AHS Girls Lacrosse this season!
First, please join us in welcoming Coach Margot Becker as our new AHS Girls Lacrosse Youth Director & JV Head... Coach! Coach Becker brings incredible energy, leadership, and a passion for growing the game, and we can’t wait to see the impact she’ll have on our program.
Welcome back Coach Holden Savoie! The best hair in AHS Girls Lacrosse history is officially back on the sidelines, and we’re thrilled to have Coach Holden back for another season.
We’re also excited to welcome back Assistant Coach Charles Sheehan! We’re so glad to have Coach Sheehan returning to continue helping our athletes grow both on and off the field.
And last but certainly not least, please help us welcome Coach Ali Vanek to the AHS Girls Lacrosse family! A former collegiate player at Regis University and a coach with Grit Lacrosse, Coach Vanek brings a wealth of playing experience and coaching knowledge, and we’re excited to have her join the program.
