Austin High Ultimate Advances to 2026 State Tournament

The Maroons are Playing to Bring Home a State Championship Trophy in 2026

Austin High Athletics continues its historic run this school year as the Maroons Ultimate is latest program to reach State. As one of the most dominate programs in the state, Austin High Ultimate Frisbee is yet again headed to the 2026 USA Ultimate High School State Championship as the tournament’s #2 seed. This achievement caps off a dominant year for Maroon athletics and cements this squad as a legitimate state title contender.

Austin High Ultimate has a history of success since the program was founded in 2016, reaching the State Championships 8 times. They have finished in the top 4 multiple times (2022, 2023) but are seeking the top spot this year. The Maroons have been the team to beat since the fall; Austin High has finished in the top 2 in the biggest tournaments they competed in.

  • The team dominated the the big Fall Tournament in November, securing a decisive 1st-place finish.
  • That success rolled directly into the spring, where the Maroons finished 2nd in the Spring League to secure their elite state seeding.
  • Under the leadership of new coaches Sean Brady and Jeb Berry, the program has put together another monster season and has a bright future at Austin High.

The Road to the Title The Maroons head to Lakeline Park in Cedar Park this weekend to compete against the best in Texas.We invite the Austin High faithful to make the short drive to Cedar Park to support these athletes as they chase down winning the state championship trophy. #LoyalForever

  • When: Saturday & Sunday, May 16-17.
  • Saturday Pool Play: Games at 8:30am, 10:20am, 12:10pm, and 3:50pm.
  • Sunday Playoffs: 8:30am through the 2pm Championship Final.
